Some travelers pack light. I pack snacks, scribbled odes, and a deeply held belief that even detours have stories worth telling. This corner of the internet is my way of unpacking those.

Welcome to my new corner of the internet.
After years of circling the globe—and sometimes circling back to figure out why—I finally decided to gather the stories, scribbles, and soul-searching in one place. You’ve stumbled upon the result: part travelogue, part launch pad, and part poetic tantrum disguised as travel wisdom.
This site is more than a digital résumé. It’s a living archive of my experiments in travel, life, and self-discovery. You’ll find books that came out of late-night writing sprints and early-morning airport delays. You’ll find reflections, rambles, consulting insights, and photos that are more candid than curated. And eventually, you’ll find your own place here too—because if travel teaches us anything, it’s that the journey is better shared.
I didn’t build this space to sell you something. I built it to connect—with fellow wanderers, wonderers, and people who believe that a suitcase packed well is as much an art as the itinerary it’s headed toward.
So whether you’re here for a sneak peek at my ODE series, a new keynote on value, or just curious how I managed to wedge poetry next to protein powder and Golden Oreos in my travel bag… welcome. You’re in the right place.
Let’s keep moving—just maybe not in a straight line.
—Jim
